Lead with Curiosity, Not Assumptions
We never assume the worst in others’ comments or intentions. Instead, we approach each conversation with curiosity, open to learning about others’ perspectives and experiences.
Listen to Understand, Not to Respond
Take the time to truly listen when others share. Seek to understand their journey, emotions, and experiences before offering your own thoughts or advice.
Respect Each Other’s Unique Journey
We acknowledge and honor that everyone’s path to healing is different. No one’s experience is less valid than another’s, and we approach each individual’s journey with respect and compassion.
Use "I Feel" Statements
When sharing personal experiences or offering advice, use “I feel” or “Through my journey” statements to ensure that you're speaking from your own experience, not telling others what they should do. This keeps the conversation non-judgmental and safe.
Encourage Positive & Empowering Communication
We aim to empower each other with uplifting words and actions. Avoid negativity or self-destructive language, and instead, focus on lifting each other up.
Be Patient with Yourself and Others
Healing is a journey, not a race. Show patience with yourself and others as we each move through our own personal growth processes at our own pace.
Support Over Criticism
When offering feedback, focus on encouragement and support. If you disagree or offer a different perspective, do so in a way that’s constructive and respectful of the other person’s feelings.
Confidentiality & Privacy
What is shared in this group stays in this group. Respect the privacy of others and ensure that all personal stories or sensitive information are kept confidential.
No Judgement, Only Support
We do not judge, criticize, or belittle anyone for their experiences, emotions, or challenges. Our goal is to create a space where all members feel safe and supported in sharing openly.
